I was contacted by this company, to do a holiday health check for the POS systems at a Best Buy. When the representitive from the company spoke to me on the phone, they offered me $20 per hour and said that there would be an 8 hour workday involved. When I finally recieved notification from them that I had been asigned to the job, the email I recieved. stated I was only being offered $17, per hour to do this job and there was no mention of how many hours it would take to do the job. Also keep in mind, that I didnt get the notification, informing me of the lower pay rate, until late in the evening, the night before the job. of course, by the time I got the email, it was too late to contact anyone at Go2IT Group to confirm that I would actually be paid the higher rate, for doing this job for them.
I have done many different contract jobs of this nature for many clients over the years. I just find it very irregular for a company to call you on short notce to do a job, offer you one amount verbally on the phone, then send you an email confirmation the evening before the job starts, saying you will be paid considerably less.
I count myself lucky, that I didnt actaully work fore this company, and I would advise anyone who is contacted by them, to be very careful. Thats just my two cents.

I have been doing contract assignments for Go2it for almost a year now, although there is not much work it definitely helps fill the voids when my own business is fledgling. In one year I have only had one issue with payroll and it was pretty much my own mistake. The staff at Go2it is wonderful and always available to answer any questions you may have.

Before you go and blow off slandering a company, know this, the address is provided to you by a seperate company who uses Go2it as its contractor. I have worked with this company for over a year and IT IS THE BEST! It is only human for someone to give the wrong address however, if you are the professional you claimed to be when you were interviewed then you would have scoped out the address, find out it was wrong and on GOOGLE located the correct address. Or, you would have called the point of contact number you were given and verified the address like YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO! I have only one thing to say about the above comment I am rebutting, IN THE FUTURE, " BE PREPARED" that's my motto.

I've been receiving frequent temp work from the Go2IT Group for the past 5 months without difficulty. As such, I feel it is only fair to offer a rebuttle/alternative experience report. Each job I received came with an address, which I utilized with google maps to obtain directions. No further directions were ever needed. I have never been assigned to a job that was not prepared to receive my services. Only once has a customer been angry with my services, and it was only due to materials not having been shipped to the site by the contracting company (the company Go2IT receives work from). Payment has always been on time. With regards to the "on time" bonus in the complaint above, the bonus comes not from Go2IT, but from the company that you are contracting for, and is thus mailed separately. Furthermore, Go2IT has paid for me to obtain certifications required for certain jobs, which has enhanced my resume. My only complaint, and the constant complaint I have heard from others working with them, is that they are not able to provide me with enough work to pay all my bills. If they could find more companies to contract with, I would be very happy.
