In Jan. 2001 I attended a Global Web training and seminar for creating business websites using their online product Quicksitemaker. I was told that in order to reach more customers and provide a better service I would also need a Merchant account, this was optional. I paid for one site and I was given two more for signing a contract for a Merchant account. A contract held by National First Financial and Elite Payment Solutions.
The product called Quicksitemaker was a pain in the yang and it took me a lot of long distance calls to resolve problems and even recalls because I was not given the right solution. Calls that I had to pay for myself. After about seven mo. of paying for the monthly service of serving the website, additional money per mo. for the online store, and the merchant account with no hits or other money coming in to balance out the expense I called it quits and decided this was a flop.
While running my website and researching the web about posting websites I found that it takes a lot more work and money to get rank with the big guys than I was lead to believe at the seminar. A lot more time, work and money than I had at the time.
I continued to pay for this merchant account because of the contract. I felt that maybe in the future I could use it again. I also noticed that I was no longer paying National First but was now paying Fair Financial and before them, another company I do not recall. I took no action to find out why because I thought they had just changed their name. Needless to say, I am no longer paying because of recent discoveries.
Now that I have found this website, I have found that others where ripped off by similar companies such as EPenzio, HOME, Professional Mentoring Group, USight, Bring it Home and LeaseCom. These reports include Global Web and Fair Financial so now I have become concerned.
I have done some research as suggested in these rip off reports and emailed the suggested individuals. The first individual offered nothing other than ePenzio has filed bankruptcy. This was after the court judgment I guess. The second individual sent me the ePenzio/ Bring it Home case report from the court judgment in 2003.
I am really not good at reading these case reports and judgments. One thing I have noticed is that Global Web has been cited, as seen in a National BBB report Government Action section, On October 1, 2002, the Department of Consumer Protection cited Global Web for selling assisted marketing plans without first filing the required information with the division in violation of the Business Opportunity Disclosure Act. This is the same thing Bring it Home was cited for and was ordered to pay X amount of dollars. To whom I do not know. The violations in this judgment were to the Consumer Sales Practices Act and the Business Opportunity Disclosure Act.
Global Web continues to post their websites with access to Quicksitemaker. I don't know if you can gain access because I don't have any record of my user name and password and the phone numbers listed offer only recordings of no service. Stay away from this opportunity and their product. I believe they will be meeting the same fate as Bring it Home. I will pursue this until I am given all my money back.

In keeping aligned with the procedures of this website and that of Rip off Revenge, I would add to this report that the amount owed me from my experiences with Global Web, National First Financial, ie: Fair Financial, and Elite Payment Solutions is $4,000. Upon the mercies of the court I would request an additional 1,500 for greavious hardships in my attempts in continuing to pay for a dead web lease contract accompanied by harrassing phone calls from fair financial.
