I received two harrasing calls from this company calls the Global Vantage/Vantedge trying to collect money that we have never owe.

The first call was early in the morning, about 8am. A man called Sam William, spoke in Indian accent, looked for my husband. When I said he was not available, he started telling me all information about an unpaid bill. He said that we had an American Express credit card that has a balance of $69.01, gave me the card number and date when it was cancelled (Oct 2004). He tried to pursuade me to pay that amount immediately.

I said I could not make a payment through the phone, not to mention that I have no idea about the bill. Then he gave me their address, and online code to make payment. He also gave me his phone number (with extenstion), which I found out later was an illegitimate number.

Then, the most suspicious part was clear to me when he tried to confirm my address. It was completely wrong! Thank God, I wasn't stupid enough to give him the right one. I was so suspicious over the whole conversation becuase we have never have a debt!

After I hung up the phone, I verified with my husband about the bill and found out that we never had an American Express credit card!

Two days later, the same guy called back. When my husband confronted him and hang off. He called back immediately and shouted maliciously over our answering machine!

We searched on the net base on the info that the caller gave us and found out more info about this company through the website. The clearest revelation arrive when we saw that the company is on RipOff's list. We realize someone reported about this company on the same day we receive the call today.

Don't let this company go away... they are malicious and big liar!

Just send a cease communication request, and also submit an FTC complaint. They will go away. Then request your credit reports from each credit bureau, which you get FREE once per year. Be sure they do not have a collection on there. If they do, just dispute it.
