Giovanni Gradilone Johnny, G & M / GO Concrete Took deposit and would not do the job.. Avoiding my phone Calls and Won't return my calls either. Calgary Alberta
I hired Giovanni Gradilone of G & M concrete Ltd or GO Concrete in October 2018 to do a concrete patio job. He promised to start the job on October 30th or 31st, 2018. Giovanni didn't show up for the job. I called him and he told me his truck broke down and he was going to rent a Uhaul to come do the job on Thursday November 1, 2018. He arrived on November 1, 2018 and requested for $1,000 deposit to enable him buy materials he needed for the concrete prep work, which I gave and he gave me a receipt for the deposit. Giovanni then told me he would go shop for the materials and return November 2, 2018 to start the job, on this day he didn't show up again.
I called him again and he told me he was shopping for materials he needed for the concrete patio prep work and that at 7:45am latest on November 3, 2018 morning, he would be at my place to start the job. At 8:45am on November 3, 2018 Giovanni was no where to be found. I called over 30 times, sent him three text messages, but he ignored my calls and messages. I decided to google his name and found stories similar to mine. Giovanni didn't just rip me off but has cost me so much stress and trauma as I am pregnant. He dug holes at my backyard and still had the guts not to show up for the job he has taken a deposit for. Another contractor waiting to do landscaping in my yard after the patio job is finished, is now setback 1 week on his own project at my house.
I am sharing this story, because I will see that all law enforcement authorities get involved in this. My camera caught a video of when I gave him the deposit right in front of my house, so I am ready for Giovanni Gradilone. If he has been getting away with ripping people off, this is the end of the road for such dubious act. Beware of Giovanni Gradilone (Johnny) of G & M Concrete or GO Concrete.
