Gibson Trust ripoff deceptive company will hurt your credit and keep your money Pompano Beach Florida
My wife and I entered Gibson's program in July of 2000.After the initial wrecking of our credit, due to us not expecting to have no payments made while proposals were being sent to our creditors, things went well for about a year. With the only ongoing problem being one creditor did not accept Gibson's proposal, their program appeared to be working. Even the creditor who didn't accept was receiving a payment from Gibson.
Then we arrive at January 2002.The payment to Gibson, which was made by ACH withdrawal in December 2001,never got made to any of our creditors. Our creditors received Novembers payment on December 7.They did not receive another payment until February 20.After going through multiple counselors, one incorrect month check trace, and months of phone calls from our creditors demanding payment, we accepted Gibson's explanation that it was a case of billing error due to our payment dates.
Now we arrive at August 2002.The phone calls start again, we start calling Gibson again.(Even while we were on vacation)We finally got someone at Gibson who seemed to help, and got July's payment paid on August 20.
September arrived with another round of phone calls. Then we found your web site, and started reading other complaints. To our amazement everybody's experience with Gibson ends up the same way. at the end of September we filed complaints with the Florida Attorney General, and the FT Lauderdale chamber of commerce. STOP THIS COMPANY FROM HURTING ANY MORE PEOPLE!!!!!!
