On December 2015 We purchased a 2008 class A RV Itasca Latitude 39w, made by Winnebago. It only had 12300 miles on the odometer. We had previously owned a travel trailer. As to tire experience, we hit an extreme pothole in North Carolina.which rattled the whole RV. We took it to the camp ground where we stayed for 5 weeks. The day before we departed for home in Florida, I checked the air pressure and the right inside rear tire was only 30psi. I contacted a tire dealer and he ordered a new tire. It was a Michelin 255/80R22.5 and it cost about $700. It was the same as the other 5 tires. The existing tires were also Michelin 255/80/22.5. Interestingly, These tires were replaced in 2011. The dealer inspected all of the tires and reassured me that they should be good until 2018.

We were driving from Salt Lake City, UT to Bryce Canyon on 1 may 2017, and stopped for fuel on interstate 15 at a FlyingJ stop. It was in the middle of nowhere, it seemed. Scipio,UT 84656. In addition there was a tire dealership, G&G Service. While I was filling my tank a young man ( early 20’s) was riding a bicycle and asked if I realized I was filling my tank with gasoline? I reassured him there was no mistake, that my rear engine was indeed a gasoline engine, but thank you for your concern. Then he came by again and mentioned that my right inside rear tire was low. I asked him how he could tell and he said the RV was leaning to the right.(the terrain was sloping to the right) He suggested I drive over to the tire dealer about 50 feet to the North to get my tires checked. I was in the process of checking the tires and a older gentleman came out and offered to check all of my tire’s pressure.

On the first tire he pointed out that I needed new tires as I had dry rot and it was dangerous to drive with them. I asked him if he had the Michelin tires. He said that he did not , but he had some Cooper tires ( 275/70R22.5 ) Roadmaster that they were the same grade and quality and price. I knew the price of the Michelin. He replaced all 6 tires; he had told me he was going to give me $150. credit for the Michelin with about 2000 miles that he kept. When I returned to Florida, I telephoned and told the dealership that I had not received a warranty with the tires. He said he would take care of it for me, he took my email address and said he would in addition to a hard copy, send me an email. After 2 weeks, I thought I would contact Cooper tires about a warranty and in looking up the email address I came across adds for the tire I bought for $237. I have talked with Cooper Tires, they are upset and are investigating. I also notified Master Card and disputed the charge
