Folks, you need to check your policy very well. I had auto insurance with Geico for over 6 years and upgraded my policy from liability to auto comprehensive, unknown to be that a Geico agent sold me a policy with $2500 deductible, I was happy to be paying average of $135/month for close to 18 months. I had no ticket or traffic violations. I only find out about the $2500 deductible when I filed for a claim for my 2008 Toyota Camry. You can see the adjuster's print out below.

Your agent will have your signed insurance application. It should have your initials by the different parts of the coverage, including liability limits & deductibles. If you can show that your agent didn't show you those parts of your policy, and get your approval for them, you've got a case against them & Geico.
If you purchased coverage over the phone, there may be a recording of your conversation, especially if you did the actual purchase by phone including a voice signature.

It's just a wake up call, nothing more,by sharing my experience for others to be aware of predatory sales tactics of geico.$2500 deductable?

Perhaps, now, you'll be able to take the 6o seconds it takes to verify coverage. If you're too busy to do that you need to hire a helper. How ridiculous can you get?

What's wrong with my report? It's not everybody that has time to read all the packages insurance put in the mail.
I made it clear for others to avoid my mistake. Very rear to have $2500 deductable and still be paying $135/month in Ks.

When did you last check the coverage page of your renewal notice? I would guess you NEVER did.
