I don't know Florida Insurance laws, with that said... Most insurance companies must send a written notice of cancellation 30 days prior to cancelling a policy if they intend to not renew you, in most states. That's for the end of the policy term. It's usually different for non payment. I think you may be confusing them, but like I said, I don't know Florida law or the particulars. I also know that pretty everytime you call GEICO, they offer there policy holder automatic withdrawls for their payments so that your accounting information is kept on file. If you call everytime to make your payment, they probably don't have that information. Most companies do that for your security. I assume that you were cancelled 7 days after you tried to make the payment with the account number that was not correct. I couldn't see you making a payment that cleared and them cancelling you 7 days later for non payment. That wouldn't make sense. I don't know, some of the things kind of give me an impression you were a little behind on the payment.
