Okay...now that I have time. I called back again...the technician wanted to go through the same steps again. I explained the situation and he told me to write a letter and fax it in. I did this and four days later recieved a call. They have shipped a box for the laptop...it has been sent. I am worried!!! Will the laptop come back in one piece? Will the display be cracked? Will they actually replace the bad hard drive or just Fdisk and reformat??? (Which will only be a temporary fix as long as no one runs scandisk.) I can't wait to find out. Alex

Alex, Yes, over time is MAY get worse. And yes, the number you called is setup for data fax's. If you want to contact customer relations, fax that number with your complaint and have your incident number included. The customer relations department will assign an agent to you and that agent will then call you. I suggest calling back in and trying again regardless of previous notes saying it's good. If you ask for a supervisor, they are to either set you up for a 24-48 hour call back OR if a supervisor is available, they will get on the phone. Customer relations is second level -- if you want to talk to someone above 'a supervisor'. As I said, call back in -- your issue can be further processed (based on what you have said).
