GE Zurich AKA GE Computer Partners ripoff deceptive company who has screwed others too lying dirty SOB's with slow prossessing Louisville Kentucky and Dallas
One November 01, 1999 we purchased Three (3) computer systems, inluding computer keyboard, monitor and printer, from Circuit City in Fort Smith, AR. We also purchased the warranty for all three.
In October of 2001 one of our computers, which we had kept for ourselves (the other went to relatives)began to make a noise like a jet engine. I called the warranty number. They tolk me it sounded like a software problem and I would have to contact Hewlett-Packard, which I did ($24.95) for software support over the phone. They told me it was a hardware problem to contact the person who I had purchased the warranty from, which I did again.
They told me the same thing and I said "No!" you are not running me around again. After more than 23 hours of running test on my computer while on the phone with a tech. I finally three months later got approval for a tech to come to my house, after four more months and a dozen or more visits from the tech and 18 part replacements later they finally deemed the computer unrepairable and authorized replacement, which took several more weeks, (by the way it is now the middle of July 2002 and I still don't have a working computer).
John at GE told me they were going to close out the service order and send me an approval code for a gift certificate to take into the store and get a replacement computer (Boy, was I relieved, for about one week). Rather than getting an approval code through the mail I got a computer left on my doorstep from UPS (which by the way does NOT WORK!!!!)
When I called they told me that I would now have to call Compaq (the brand GE had sent me instead of HP. Also, it does not match the rest of my computer, not to mention the fact it does not even work and was COVERED in black greasy finger prints).
I have now left 108, that is right One Hundred and Eight voice messages with Compaq who have not returned one call. GE Zurich is still giving me the run around that they can do nothing until the 90 days is up. Well, now my 90 days is up and I get a new story. Since they sent me a Compaq rather than a HP it cannot be replaced in the store because Circuit City does not carry the piece of Crap they sent me.
I have now been without my computer for Ten Months! By they way John's employee ID number is 4304. He is a scum-sucking piece of crap liar. He told the manager of Circuit City I was given an option and told him I would rather have a computer sent to me rather than the replacement gift card(A TOTAL AND COMPLETE LIE!!!!).
That's right I told you to screw me over some more a send me a different brand with NO Software whatsoever rather than the cool computer and software package I had, (I am sure everyone will buy that load of crap John)
"Warranties are for suckers"! That is my new motto, however, I am the manager for a law firm and will be filing a lawsuit against them, as well as John the liar so WATCH OUT GE. You screwed the wrong person this time!

I, too, have been a victim, both willingly and unwillingly of the Compaq nightmare. I have more hell stories than you have time. The bottom line is that HP bougth out Compaq. Now, why they are still sending out those pieces of SH*T, I have no idea. I would think that they would keep all of those inhouse and fix ALL of the problems ( and believe me...THERE ARE LOTS!!!) and then send them out under their name...I have no idea. But it sounds to me that you have been bitten by the Compaq bug and you are going to have to cure yourself. Believe me from YEARS of experience...you will get NO help from them.
