Gateway Financial Services Stole money from me saying they were going to loan me money Ripoff Massapequa New York
I was called by Gateway Financial Services by a man named Simon Husbands saying they would loan me 5,000 to repair my home. I was told I had to send a Western Union payment of 650.00 which I sent plus the charge of 58.99 to send it. It was to be sent to Christopher Hawkins in Tronto Canada then the money would be deposited in my account. The 650.00 was for insurance policy for the loan. I kept trying to reach Gateway Financial to find out why I didn't receive my money, to no avail. This took place in December 20,2006. On around January 15,2007 I received a call from a man saying that Simon Husbands had an emergency in his family and had not been in the office. But, if I still wanted the money I could get it except I would have to send another 750.00 dollars because my credit wasn't that good because we had been in Bankruptsy however it is over now. I told him No, I just wanted him to send me back my money he told me it would take from 3 weeks to a month for me to receive the money I told him I sent the money when I was suppose to I thought they should go ahead and send me my money immediately.I have never received any of the money. I think this is fraud. I have tried to find Gateway Financial in Massapequa NY unable to locate it. I would greatly appreciate your help.
