Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was told a few times when asked if the 73 Challenger needed anything to be complete, that it was a "turn key" car and needed nothing. Once when my wife and I were there and a second time when my brother and I went up there. Mike also emailed me the same , this is a turn key car and needs nothing.

I was also told that the vehicle was a consignment car and that the owner had bought it from Barret Jackson and later found that was not the case.

Upon receiving the car and once home my mechanic and I discovered several things. I will list them here now.

No emergency brake. No windshieldwipers the arms and the blades were removed completely. No heater in the vehicle at all it was taken out and the area on the firewall where the heater hoses goes through was welded over.

The rear brakes were completely shot and needed immediate repairing.

Someone who had the car put in a oil collector that is used to catch oil from a car that has engine blow by. What that means is the engine is blowing oil pass the rings and out the oil cap. The oil collector was used to direct the oil back into the intake manifold to make the car stop blowing oil out the oil fill car thus hiding the problem.

I was told this vehicle was rebuilt and had 1500 miles on it since the rebuilding of the engine.Apparently that is not the case or the work was shoddy.

I had explained to Mike and Tony a few times that I had planned to use this car solely for cars shows ad road use, not the drag strip at all. They assured me that then this is the car for me and it was turn key and needed nothing. I still have an email stating that.

The transmiison inspection plate was missing allowing dirt grime and filth into the transmission. The oil that I immediately changed was black, like it was never changed. It was my understanding that these vehicles were inspected and that Gateway only sold the best cars?

I am an honest person and also naive, I do not lie to others so I assume others are telling the truth.

By telling me this was a turn key car, they intentionally mislead me. I looked up turn key car and that means completed, I was told this car needs nothing. Well it woud in no way pass a road inspection and will need much to repair it. The vehicle sold for $39,000.

I used a credit card only for the $1000.00 down payment.

I have also sent several emails to Mike Weitz and he has not replied at all.

If the engine has blow by, that means it is bad. Period.

Answer me this if a car needs all these items is it a "turn key' car. Mike at GATEWAY CLASSIC CARS in Detroit says it is.

No emergency brake - no heater at all - no back up lights - no horn - no wiper blades or arms - No inspection cover plate on the tranny - Radio C/D player dont work -Fuel lines leaking in two areas - back brakes were not working

NO back up lights. NOT even road worthy,
