Unfortunately you were the victim of a scam that used Gambinos Bakery's name and web site to con people. Gambinos Bakery took steps to correct this problem long time ago and helped the FBI arrest and convict the thieves. Probably you never tried to reach Gambino's Bakery via e-mail as we were at the time taking steps to correct this problem. This happen at the end of 2005, beginning 2006, since then all problems have been corrected and our site has been secured to avoid this situation from ever happening again. Gambino's Bakery does not use and have never used PenPal.

I can see why you had a problem. I just noticed you said you paid with Pay Pal. Gambinos does not accept Pay Pal as a form of payment, and hasn't in the last few years that I've ordered from them. What I don't know is who got your payment, I would definately dispute it.

The Great organization you mention billed me via American Express for the shipment that never arrived. How can I refuse the shipment or return it if I don't get it. The have to this day never responded. Don't tell me about Katrina. I am from the Ms. Gulf Coast, Made it through Camille and my mother lost our home to Katrina. A rip-off is a rip-off.

I had over 20 king cakes shipped from the same bakery, and had no problems with any of them. For a bakery that shipped thousands, and came back from Hurricane Katrina, I think they did a great job! For future reference, if you ever have a problem with any shipment from anyone, send it back right away (send it back as refusing the package and you don't pay for the mailing). You have to send any merchandise back to get a refund.
