Many health care providers will not take GB patients, as they authorize treatment and then the provider has to jump through hoops to get paid, and if they get anything, it is usually far less than the contracted rate. They are horrible to their Work Comp injured workers (who in most states cannot be billed if GB doesn't pay), so being that yours sounds like a personal injury case, I can just imagine how they are treating you. Please don't go up against these vultures without an attorney..you will end up with nothing if you do. But I do agree..you need to get on to your attorney or get someone who will take the bull by the horns.

Apparetly for those of you who haven't read this close enough..I am not asking for anyone's opinion on the probability of the situation..it happend and at over 100 lbs of snow and ice dropped directly on the head I am lucky that it did not break my neck according to the neurologist. I have heard no word from MS. BYNAM.....but a newstation has contacted to do and interview regarding this situation and I am deciding if I am going to go on camera and talk about this. I have been unable to get a job I am an LPN and due to the INJURIES TO MY NECK AND BACK...I am unable to be employed at this time. So I have to figure out how to supplement my income. And I am responsible for the bills that the insurance isnt covering..all while my husband is in Iraq. I have a 16th month old son...and I am having trouble with simple things like lifting him out of the tub etc.... This is such a shame.....I just asked for them to do the RIGHT THING...I didn't expect to be treated like trash.

The snow fell on you and created a permanent injury? Sounds plausable, but if you are receiving military medical care and you do receive compensation, you might have to repay the military. Make sure your attorney understands that, and focuses more on your lost wages, pain and suffering. File for social security disability, if you will never be able to work again you should qualify; however I believe a strained neck won't qualify.
