FreedomPop advertises free cellular service, they don't. I elected a plan I could live with, at $10.99/month. I got that rate for a single month, January, 2018. February 10, 2018, PayPal emailed me a receipt for $21.99, a "pre-authorized" payment. Turns out, FreedomPop represented to PayPal that the January payment included a $10 discount. Flat fraud. Contacting FreedomPop for an explanation was not so easy, as a "free" customer (yes, they actually say that) I could not speak to anyone but had to look forward to an email response, a wait of up to 72 hours. Canceling service and trying to get a refund for the prepaid service turns out to be impossible. The email address they provided to PayPal is an "unmonitored account" referring you to the log in page at 'myfreedompop' Good luck with that. After canceling, they lock you out, no avenue for communication.
