Freedom Resources ripoff fraudulent credit card offer Woodstock Georgia
back in may, 2002, i received a phone call for a credit card that i was able to get regardless of credit report, which by the way is blank. i authorized a eft for $225 for this card. it was supposed to be a one-time fee.
they promised reciept of the credit card 2 weeks from the time the eft went through. that was 2 weeks from 5-22-02. on july 3, 6 weeks later, i had not received my card and i called the company. i was not able to get through. it was either busy or a recording came on and disconnected me.
this went on for several weeks and finally towards the middle of july, actually july 16, 2 days after i contacted my local bank and filed what is called a regulation-e form used for fraudulent removal of funds from an account, miraculously, i received a refund form from the company. which, i sent 2 times.
i have a return receipt from the last one which was finally signed for on 9/12/02 by a james izant. i have continually called since and have been hung up on and ultimately ignored. i have been told that a heather gray would call me back concerning this matter, and has not as of yet.
and a young girl named tamika, whom i spoke to before was given the call today because sheila, who i spoke to today, because she didnt like the fact that the first young lady had promised that my refund would be sent before thanksgiving. which is what she read off the data base that was entered the end of october.
still, no refund received.
