Well in October of 2002 I did agree to this company to draft out $221.95 out of my checking. In return for a Mastercard Credit Card with a limit of $2,500.00. I asked all the right question and I made sure to ask if this was a secured credit card and I was told that it was not.

When I agreed to this credit card I was told that they needed to confirm all my information and that it would be recorded for verification. I wrote down all the names of the people that I spoke to. The manager that verified my information that night of the 15th of October is Ashley Taylor. I was given a tracking number of 3680949. Which I have never had to use to this day when I have ever gotten through and actually spoken to someone.

Anyhow the money was taken out of my account. Ever since then it has been a complete headache and a constant circle trying to get anything accomplished with this company. I finally received my "Membership Package" after waiting o, I don't know 3 months maybe, and after several phone calls later, when I could actually get through to someone.

I was so disgusted basically because I kept getting the run around that I got fed up and asked what do I need to do to get refund. I was told that they would have to send me a form and I would have to fill it out and send it back certified with the "Membership Package"(which I did and have proof of.)

Well that was done January 27, 2003. Since then I have spoke to a couple of so called "customer service reps" and all are always RUDE not helpful. Gloria at ext 127 is one rep. that I spoke with and was actually helpful, she was very nice.

Since then though I have been told on one occaison that my package was received on the 01-28-03 and that a refund would be mailed out, but it could take upto 6 weeks. So I waited longer. I was told that it was mailed to me 3-27-03 didn't come, go figure.

So I called back and that point I was told by a different rep. that I was given incorrect information because no refunds were even sent out in the month of March, and it would scheduled to be mailed on the 4th of April 03. Well you got it, it's now the 15th of April and still no check. I can't even get through to the number. Or if I do get through I will sit on hold for anywhere between 10-20 minutes and then out of the blue it just disconnects the call.

This has happened to many times to count. Not to mention that it is not a toll free number. I thought that I was alone in this matter and I would like to say that not that I'm happy to know that I'm not alone but I think that we all need to pull together and do something about this. I am willing to fight. Not that $221.95 is a lot of money but just think of all of us out there that have lost that money. And some of those people really need not to mention that is is OUR MONEY. Freedom Resource needs to be taken down so that they do not do this to anyone else. I am going to contact the Consumer Affairs of Georgia to see what can be done. This is just WRONG.
