Freedom Resources contacted me sometime in July and told me that i was approved for a visa or mastercard with a limit up to $2500. Well when they took the $221.95 out of my bank account i started to feel a little uncomfortable so at that time i asked for my money back.

They sent me a check request form and on that check request form it stated that it will take up to 90 days to proccess my check request. So i waited, then i called them in october to see what the status was on my refund at that time they told me that my check will be issued on november 15,2002. I waited and nothing. So i called them again and asked what had happeded they said they were running behind and they couldn't fit me in at that time frame. So i asked when i would be recieving it then they said in december.

Again no check came, so i contacted them again to find out what happed and they now told me that i wouln't be recieving it till jan.I told them that i was told i would already have my check by december. I then told the person i talk to that just send me the credit card, because it seems like i would get that faster then my money.

It's now Jan 16,2003 and i haven't yet to recieve my credit card or check. I attempted to call them today (Jan 16,2003)and they first person that picked up hung up on me. Then i called again and i was now told that i wouldn't be recieving my refund till Feb. that they couldn't fit me in. I begining to think i'm never going to get my money back. But i will not stop trying. What else can i do about this?

We too, have been through the same BS! Our money came out December 6th. I called one day last week, and talked to one woman, (don't have my notes in front of me) she said that we would receive our members package in the mail......when i asked about our $2500 credit card......the "signature card" would be in the package. Our package should be here this week, they had a "problem in printing", that was the delay! When I said WHEN WAS the package mailed? She started to tell me again with the problem at the printer.......I explained I UNDERSTOOD that, SHE TOLD me it would be here this week, so SHE had to know when it was mailed! Then it was suppose to have been mailed LAST Friday. I waited a little bit, and called back. Of course got someone else, who wanted a whole lot of info...name, address, phone etc......then put me on hold. When she came back, she told me "they liked their customers to give it 15-21 business days". I then TOLD her it came out of our account on December 6th, agian put on HOLD. WOULDN'T YOU THINK A PRINTING PROBLEM WOULD BE SENT OUT COMPANY WIDE???? Then she came back and said, "the demand was way over what they expected..." that was why they were behind schedule! (of course I never mention the "problem at the printers")
