Freedom Resource Benefits Group single mother ripped off -hopes of receiving credit card for X-mas presents it is now Easter! dirty ripoff liars Hollywood Florida
Freedom Resource received my down payment via direct withdrawl on November 18, 2002 with the promise of a return credit card within 20 days.
It has now been approximately six months and no credit card.
THE PROMISE
My down payment of $221 for a Master Card with a limit of $2500, no annual fee, 0 interest rate, and a free trip to a choice of several locations.
I have yet to receive anything from Freedom Resources via mail. I have been on hold for hours at a time attempting to talk to someone for a resolution.
I have talked with a supervisor on three separate occassions, on the rare chance of actually getting through. I am on hold for 30 minutes at a time, but most of the time the line is busy. I have been hung up on by five customer representatives.
A note, if you ask to speak to a supervisor - this is another 45 minute wait.
To my suprise, they were not going to send me a credit card, rather a document to sign in order to recieve the credit card.
One representative told me she would put it in the mail - today. Another told me she would send me a fax - today. The supervisor told me she would send me a fax - today. NONE OF THESE PROMISES WERE KEPT.
I finally received a fax from them on 3-20-03. I signed the document to recieve my credit card - it is now 4-10-03 - still no response.
I attempted to call today. The telephone line was busy for two hours. Then the telephone system would not accept # entries, like it requested. I sat on hold from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm, then a recorded voice stated "It is now past business hours, our business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard time.
I will try again tomorrow.
