What makes you think I gave the my business after I got them to take the lemon back? Like I said, I reported this dealership to maybe help someone else down the line. I don't need any more salt rubbed into my wound so I will not answer to anymore of the negative comments directed toward me from so called consumers that wouldn't be a customer of this dealership in Barberton, Oh. in the first place.
I will, however, respond to anyone about particulars they should be aware of if they are considering buying a used car from Fred Martin Superstore.

"I was under the impression I had three days to get the car checked out with their love it or leave it promise" Was that a written impression?
"I ended up taking a ride with a guy" Did you test drive or did he drive?
"'The on-line prices and the girls upstairs are to just to get you in here'... I felt THREATEND from his loudness and penetrating stares"
You felt threatened and were clearly a victim of bait and switch but you still gave them your business.

I should have headed the warnings but I didn't, and I'm still kicking myself for letting myself to be taken in. At the time I thought everything would be ok because I was under the impression I had three days to get the car checked out with their love it or leave it promise. My fault I know!
My decision to file this report was submitted so others might get a heads up on the tactics of this dealership and might not fall prey like I did. I am 63 years old and have never before had anything like this happen. I hope my report will, if nothing else, will give other trusting souls a warning to (NOT BE SO TRUSTING).....

I'm not Clive, nor do I work for the company that sold you this car.
" If your not Clive and just a consumer I can only say is, (How do people get screwed and deceived if not by trusting?) "
If you are prepared to go through life putting your trust in people who have told you they are dishonest, you are doomed. If you think that it is wise to trust a used car salesman, I urge you never to step onto a car lot again without a responsible adult at your side.
According to your post, these people TOLD YOU that they used a bait and switch to get you in the door. What does it take to make you suspicious?

Sounds like your name is Clive the guy that took me for the ride that morning. The things you said in your comment is almost identical to what was said to me in the car. If your not Clive and just a consumer I can only say is, (How do people get screwed and deceived if not by trusting?)...

" When I asked Baxter about being told this he stated, " The on-line prices and the girls upstairs are to just to get you in here"...
So, according to you, the guy admits to you that the company is dishonest. By what leap of logic did you then decide it would be a good idea to buy a car from this guy?
It's hard to take your complaint about bait and switch seriously, since you decided to give them your business even after they supposedly admitted it.
No doubt their display of honesty induced you to buy this used car without having it checked out first. This is how most used car complaints on this site read. Unless you happen to live in one of the few states that force used car dealers to give a minimum warranty, you screwed yourself on this deal.
