Angela, I have a theory. My guess is you don't pay your bills, therefore the lender would lease you a vehicle. You should have been happy they at least tried to get you a new car, they went out on a limb and sent a vehicle off the lot and hadn't received payment for it. I'm sure for the time you had their car they were trying to get you approved, but couldn't because of you situation. Unfortunately, for everyone involved, they had to take the car back.

Angela: Do you know what you'd be getting into with a CAR FLEASE? They did you a FANTASIC FAVOR!!! 1. You're insurance most likely would be higher. 2. You would be stuck with all kinds of official sounding but BOGUS fees. 3. You would be required to pay mileage charges computed yearly to MAXIMIZE the money taken from you. 4. You would be required to PAY FOR SERVICE for a car OWNED BY SOMEONE ELSE! 5. You would be hit with exagerated wear and tear charges and other BOGUS closing fees. Angela...you are a very, very lucky woman. They didn't want you to see the contract. You being a woman are an easy mark for the con-men. There is much more profit in a CAR FLEASE, as such, all the stops are pulled out to get someone to sign for such a scheme. Remember Angela, ITS A FLEASE and Y-O-U are the one who gets sheared!!!

Immediately call your local Police and report your tags "Stolen"''Then go to your local Licensing Bureau for a new set of tags, usualy there's a nominal fee, a dollar or two for the replacements. Then it's the problem of the dealership, the police will take care of them for their "Theft" of your tags.
