Fred Martin Superstore Fred Martin Looks like flood damage. Thousands of dollars of work that needs to be completed. Barbarton , Ohio
I recently purchased a car from Fred Martin 2 months ago. Its been nothiing but problems since I walked through their door.
Before I even signed the papers, I realized the air wasn't working. They agreed to fix the air but to bring it back within 30 days. When I brought the car back to have the air fixed, they informed me the car needed an air compressor and that was something that they wouldn't cover.
A couple of days later the power steering goes completely out. And although they adversized a 3 year warranty if anything happens, that wasn't covered either. Come to find out, its only power train. When I took it to my own mechanic, he informed me that this car had extensive amounts of rust underneath and it look like the car had suffered from flood damage.
Just the other day, my brakes went completely out. I almost had an accident. Took it back to my mechanic and he said I will have problems every week because everything under the car is rotted.
When I took the car to Fred Martin, they are saying the car doesn't have any more rust than the next car which is totally false. The car is still there because its unfair to have me pay a note on this car and replace the entire car underneath. I would like them to please give me my downpayment and void my contact.
