Ford Town Of Albany Georgia will not honor my mother warnty on car, she died last year Albany Georgia Georgia
My mother died May 30 th 2007.She had bought a 2005 ford focus from Ford town.She always done buisness with them for over 30 years.When she bought the new focus,she gave them her old car,which was a 1992 ford tours,64 thousand miles on it.They gave her a thousand dollars on trade in.When mom died she had insurance on the new car that if she died,it would be payed off.And it was. 15 thousand dollars...The thing is,i am in charge of her estate,when she bought the focus,it had 13 hundred miles on it.The warnty was 36 thousand miles or 3 years.which ever came first.Well,the thing is falling apart,has 24 thousand mile on it,and they tell me he warrnty is no good.I dont wont another car,this one means alot to me,it was my moms.All i wont is them to fix it.Any ideas....Martha

P.S. You might want to find an independent mechanic in you area who specializes in Ford vehicles and see if he can fix your mother's car, okay? You can also contact your Attorney General if the Ford dealership tries to do anything unethical or illegal.
Stay away from Car dealerships if you can. Most of them are owned & operated by 'shady' characters who are out to defraud the innocent people in this country.

The new mananger called me,he was asking me about buying a new car.I told him that was not what i wanted.I wanted to know why there were things wrong with the car.Till this day if i decide to sell it,there will be a odomenter discrepency.The Company only wanted me to buy a new car.But that is status quo For this town.It s all crooked.

I contacted Ford Co. In Fla.Found out that enterprise rent a car had bought my moms car in 2004,it being a 2005 car,they told me that the warrnty was good from the time the first buyer bought it,up to 3 years.Which made my mom pay 13 thousands dollars for used car,they say with no warranty...Lost cause i think here.They still are rip off.becarefull what you buy from whom,and get everything in writting.By the way,im not giving up that easy.
