This product is such a blatant copy of the Hammerhead designs part that people on their own social media were confused and asked if it was a Hammerhead part.

The Hammerhead part is CNC cut from a single piece of billet aluminum but this part is made from two parts that are welded together hillbilly style.  The whole point of running a CNC product is precision and this hokey weld job not only makes precision virtually impossible, but it guarantees variability in the finished prodcut.  Why do it this way?  Because it's cheaper, even in China.

They even engraved the name FLO on the side exactly how Hammerhead does it!  Well, that's what the rip off guys in China do when companies like FLO send other American made parts over there to have them duplicated, they copy every detail...

As amazing as it is to see someone send parts made in the USA by an American company over to China to have them duplicated it is even more bewildering why they can't even change the desing a little to make it not os obvious.

A company that has so little respect for American made motorcycle parts is clearly not out to build quality, but just wants to make a quick buck by stealing a fellow American's hard work.

FLO Motorsports is a copy shop and their pats are a rip off of other brands.

It sounds as though one of our competitors is upset about the fact that they are losing market share as a result of our superior product. Contrary to the original poster’s contentions, our products are a new design with model specific features that make it superior to other brands in terms of aesthetics, durability, quality, and price.

Further, the “weld” that the original poster complains of gives the lever an industrial look that is more in line with current sensibilities than the same old CNC machined levers that have been on the market for so long, as a matter of fact it costs more money to make the weld vs one piece CNC since it has to be welded by hand. As far as similar shape... a lever is a Lever and you have to stick to the shape of the lever in order to fit on the assembly on the bike correctly, there is only so much you can change and we did with our own peg tip and weld. We also don't do any business with China we are a American Based company, and it's funny they say we rip off designs and product but we just seen a post on hammer heads social media a few day ago that they are now starting to make foot pegs, well guess what we have been a leading foot peg manufacturer in the U.S. for the past 7 years and we are not going to throw a fit over it because we know our product is superior and hammer head has a long way to go before they can be on our level of production.

Please stop wasting peoples time with incorrect information and let us get back to what we do best!  (manufacturing)
