I bought a ticket for flixbus from Flagstaff, AZ to Phoenix, AZ that was supposed to leave at 2am from downtown Flagstaff, which would have given me perfect time to make my flight at 7am. I arrived early (by myself, downtown, with all my luggage) and waited for the bus. Five minutes after the bus was supposed to be there, it had not arrived and I gave them a call. The woman on the phone told me my bus was on time and to call in a few minutes if it was still not there. 15 minutes later, no bus. I called again and got an automated message that said: "your bus from Flagstaff, AZ to Phoenix, AZ at 11:30 is on time" and then hung up. I was shocked to hear this because my flight was at 7am and I had received no email, text, or notification that my original trip had been cancelled and rescheduled by 9.5 hours. I was forced to spend an additional $50 on another transportation service so I wouldn't miss my flight. Every time I would try to call again, the same automated message would play. I attempted reaching out on social media (as their app suggested) and got no response.

After several hours, I finally got through to someone to ask for a refund. At first, they told me i could not get a refund because "other passengers checked in on the bus and I did not." After i disputed that, they told me they could give me a cancellation voucher that could only be used on future flixbus tickets, but that there would be a $5 cancellation fee. I paid $11 for my ticket. So i was about to get a cancellation voucher worth $6 for another bus ticket. I found this unbelievable and instead disputed the charge with PayPal and got my money back that way. Flixbus left me stranded alone, at 2am, downtown with all my luggage with no explanation. I almost missed my flight and had to harass them for days to even get my money back. I still have gotten no response on social media.
