A settlement has been reached in a class action alleging that Fleetmatics recorded telephone calls with customers without giving notification that the call may be recorded or monitored and/or obtaining consent to such recording or monitoring.
Fleetmatics denies liability and disputes all allegations and claims set forth in Plaintiffs’ Complaint. However, the parties have nonetheless negotiated a settlement of this action in order to avoid the burden, expense, and uncertainty of further litigation. Further, the parties, after a thorough investigation of the facts and applicable law concerning all claims and defenses, have agreed that the proposed Settlement is in the best interest of all members of the putative Class (“Class Members”) and that the proposed Settlement is fair, reasonable, and adequate.
You may be eligible for a payment of money from the Benefit Amount set aside for members of the Class if you were an individual or business residing in Florida who spoke by telephone with representatives from Fleetmatics’ Florida office, and were not provided with notice that your call may be recorded or monitored.
Please be sure to review the Notice to fully understand your rights.
The Court appointed Ewusiak & Roberts, P.A. (Safety Harbor, FL), Law Offices of Scott E. Schutzman (Santa Ana, CA), and Dogali Law Group, P.A. (Tampa, FL) to represent you and other Class members as “Class Counsel”.

Hey "Really?" Don't assume this is a "disgruntled ex-employee". It isn't. It is much bigger than that. I have a career. It's professional & doesn't require me to lie, break the law or be humiliated on a daily basis by sexist thugs. So...be careful what you assume... Any ex-employee is happy to leave this company in the rear view mirror.

Really? You're trying to tie FleetMatics to Scientology now? You may not realize it, but Ripoff Report is just a platform for reputation management companies to advertise. Your time an energy could be better spent finding a new job or helping people in need.
