AGAIN, ANOTHER PERSON WHO THINKS THEY KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY. HERE'S A FACT FLAGSTAR STEERED CLEAR OF SUBPRIME LENDING - THAT'S PROBABLY WHY THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. THEY ARE -WERE- AND HAVE BEEN AN FHA , VA AND CONFORMING LENDER - NEVER SUB-PRIME. SO EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO MAKE STATEMENTS IN WRITING FOR THE PUBLIC TO SEE.

IF YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A HOME INSPECTION FOR $300 YOUR PROBLEMS WOULD HAVE BEEN SOLVED. POEPLE THINK HUD SENDS OUT AN INSPECTOR - BUT THEY DONT - THEY SEND AN APPRAISER (SOMEONE WHO CONFIRMS VALUE NOT CONDITION) YOU F-ED UP NO ONE ELSE DID. OF COURSE A COMPANY WILL COME AFTER YOU, WHEN YOU SIGN A CONTRACT. CHECK THE DEPTH BEFORE YOU JUMP. WHO'S FAULT IS IT WHEN YOU GET HURT DIVING IN SHALLOW WATER? YOURS! SERIOUSLY SICK OF THESE IGNORANT CRYBABIES. EDUCATE YOURSELF.

Details, Details, Details,...I was living on a federal Indian Reservation in my first ever home. It was a HUD project house. Home was part of a HUD mutual homeownership program. I set the manufactured house and lived there happily for 8 years. I paid my house payment, working and being happy. I almost had the house paid off. I kept it well and the value had gone up considerably in 8 years. Then a new "initiative" came to our reservation and an agreement was made between the Tribe, Flagstar, Fannie Mae/PMI to bring the "dream of homeownership" to us. In order to get that dream, I wanted to sell my tribal home and buy a new one. I had a considerable amount of equity in my house and would use that for the downpayment on a new one. In order to sell my tribal home I had to go through the HUD office located there. The land is in trust and there are some issues there. This is where I met the HUD coordinator. I was told they could sell my house and get me a new one in one swift movement. I think you can see where this is headed and because I am still involved with my complaints to the government and possible litigation, (if I ever find a lawyer with real integrity and determination to take on this monster, right now I am acting in pro se) I will be limited in how much I can reveal here. The HUD person was operating a realty business while working for the tribe. No DBA on company time. Along the way I had a gut feeling which led me to ask lots of questions. I soon discovered so many lies and violations that when I brought my concerns to the chief, the chief launched an investigation. You know, it's like I said it's blatant. Flagrant. And it's happening still. According to the "agreement" the HUD office sent you to the lender who was part of the "agreement" and this is where I meet Flagstar. I went through the closing of my first new home. I was never told I needed to take a class on homebuying with this thing called the Native American Conventional Lending Initiative". Others say they were. I even have a letter from one of Flagstar representatives saying "In every program there are a few glitches..." I am one of the glitches. Perhaps, I need a web page to tell my story. I haven't even gotten to the mold house yet. And the effluent with 55 gallons of water which poured into the new homes basement because the septic and drainfield was completely destroyed by an irrigation system which was installed by the previous owner and then theres the inspector whom the HUD agent got to do the inspection. Said he couldn't do the inspection on the drainfield when we asked because it was February and the ground was frozen solid. It wasn't until the first thaw that we noticed a problem. Within one month of living in the home. Nosebleeds, within 3 months, the flood and major damage. And back to the HUD realtor they never disclose commission fee. (Remember...company time)makes lots of money, referral to Flagstar MLO., no disclosures, no disclosures. Oh I asked questions, lots of them. The HUD agent was fired, police came to ask me questions. I had no agent for the other half of my transaction which was to sell the tribal home. Just Flagstar's rep. The answers are what they are still fighting me on! I want some d**n answers. I want all my money back. The rent monies that I paid for someone else to live in my house for 22 days, the damages from the flood, the commission, the money still in a account of which they over escrowed me, the fines, fees and penalties for overappraisal of a house whose foundation was entirely encompassed with black mold. The sewage had nowhere to go so it sat against the house. You name it. We have been majorly ripped off. Waaaaay to much more in this edition. Blessings to you. All Rights Reserved.

I am a little unclear on how they ripped you off, you speak in generalities but nothing specific. Even though you say you can "comfortably afford" your payment, I am assuming that you have a 3 year fixed loan because Flagstar mostly deals in sub prime loans. Why do you feel they discriminated against you because of your race and gender? I will assume you had a real estate agent working with you, why did they allow you to be discriminated against? Give us more details please so we can form our opinions.
