I was lead to this dealership,12/2, due to false advertisement. An advertisement that was for an Rogue SL when in actuality they were selling a S trim. I ended up on the SV trim that I saw in the lot. We had settled on a purchase price of $20,400 after a $490 down payment on the car that I was interested in, not the "bait and switch" advertised model that they had in stock. I also purchased gap insurance for $700 which should have brought the total to $21100. I went in with a blank check from capital one that would cover the price but was informed that the interest rate with capital one had risen to which I said that they should go with the company that has the lower interest rate and add the $3000 back promotion (only applied if you add it to the total cost and financed it) they had going (back track to the capital one blank check... 12/3, upon returning to the dealer, the finance advisor, Kevin, has informed me that to do that, the check would have taken longer so he preferred to go with their finance choices). With the $3000 added, the grand total should have been $24,400; instead my contract states that the total financed was $24574.81 with an additional $6971.75 as a finance charge with an interest rate of 12.85% (which was not the price quoted by the company they chose). The end sale price ended up being 32038.50, including the down payment.

Upon returning to the dealer on 12/3, the following day after purchase, the finance manager, Alex, refused to issue a new certified pre owned certificate with my name on it, the one they had given me had a strangers name/home information on it, unless I bought a bumper to bumper warranty. It wasn't until I threatened to call a lawyer that they were able to reissue the certificate in my name, free of charge. Also, they are refusing to honor their buy back agreement which states that the car can be returned if it was in an accident or incurred frame/structural damage. I'm not sure about the damage because it has since been fixed , not by Nissan, but it was in an accident. After speaking to Alex who was extremely condescending and rude, he said that the buy back contract that we both signed is in fact a courtesy that he can honor if he feels to. He also told me I'm having buyers remorse and will get over it amongst other things. Lastly, he dismissed me at the end of the conversation yelling me to have my lawyer call his because were talking in circles (mind you, I was there for 10 minutes, max). They also lied to me by saying they have received the funds for payment and as a result can't switch the finance agreement. I have since called the financial bank, americredit, that they utilized who said that it takes a week for the dealership to receive the funds and that they should be able to cancel the financial agreement because as of today, they have nothing on record for me being their client. I know I should have read over the contract and all the papers more thoroughly but after arriving at 8am and leaving at 430pm, I just wanted to be done with the drawn out process. They are deceptive and have no clue what quality customer service is about.

Go anywhere else!!! You can't encounter worse, I promise!!!!

Right off the top you said you wanted to buy the "SL" model.  Then you say you "ended up on" the "SV" model.  You "ended up on"???  You mean somebody picked you up and super glued you to the roof?  If the "SL" was the model you wanted, you went along with whatever "bait and switch" game they may have been playing with you.  When they saw they could very easily con you, they went on with more!  Next time, take somebody with you who has a backbone.  Enjoy your car and take a few pills for your buyer's remorse!
