Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! These people are vultures.

I was well aware of the outrageous fees they were charging for their measly limit credit card but even the best of intentioned people can get into a bind.

For a $300 credit limit, they charge a $95.00 fee plus a $75 annual fee, which they claim in writing is a small $6.25 a month charge but it is charged all at once anyway.

After paying all these fees, they put a 20 day hold on all payments. So if your payment has been deducted from your bank account on the 10th, don't expect to see it credited to your account anytime before the 25th at least.

Their customer service is arrogant and continually reminds their customers that First Premier is doing US a favor.

That's when you can get through. The only way to actually speak to someone is to sit and punch every button on the phone over and over again. There is NO option to speak to a customer service rep.

They have NO email address, they told me that. Customers are not allowed to contact them via email, most likely because there would be a record of what was said on both sides. They will not release the street address for correnpondence, as that would enable someone to send mail that would require a signature.

All "poor credit" credit cards bleed you and that's a fact. First Premier goes above and beyond in their quest to scam their customers.

This is obviously a form letter immediately put on line whenever anyone files a report of credit dissatisfaction. In it you contradicted what I actually said in order to lecture your pro bank response.

Had a person actually posted this, they might have read where I was aware of, and accepted the excessive fees. The would not have answered my comment about payment holds with the comment that I was trying to make "payment arrangements". I was not. There would not kbe a comment about paying my bills on time, because the card was not only paid on time, it is paid early, I have neither late fees nor interest charges posted.

The "rebuttal" stated that if I paid my bills on time I would not NEED to speak to customer service. Never, anywhere on this report, did I mention late payments of any kind.

The "rebuttal" looks suspiciously like some kind of auto-reply, designed to respond to certain key works.

Here's a way to (eventually) NOT have to deal with these companies....

Be responsible and get your credit rating up.  Too hard?  Then you'll continue to deal with similar companies that deal with dead beats.

Before even considering this card, one should READ the agreement BEFORE agreeing to those terms.  Even if one has read the terms and agreed to them, the time to complain has long passed!  If the terms are not agreeable, then very simply, you don't agree to them.  As for talking to them, if payments are made on time, then there's no need to "make arrangements".  However, even if payments are made on time and you are making an attempt to change the terms YOU AGREED to, then forget it!  "YOU AGREED TO THE TERMS" is the operative phrase here.  No, I don't work for them.
