We were sent a B.S certificate in the mail and it
seemed a little strange as it didnt have a phone
number or a credit card logo ither to chose from or
desinated. We went online and found your report from
August and wanted to thank you for taking the time in
making sure that other people were not taken by this
scam. What we wanted to know is if there is an act of
recourse we can take, or is thanking you all that can
be done.
Thank You,

Thanks for putting this bit of info on FNC online. I just received one of their certificates in the mail today. It is a bad time of year for us as usual. It sounded too good to be true so I got on the net and found your input.
Sincerely grateful,

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report:
Their email: [email protected]
Their name: Paula
Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion
Rebuttal:
I received the $6500 credit limit offer in the mail today, and decided to do some research on the company before committing myself to whatever it was I was going to be getting myself into. I gave them a call, got a hold of a not-so-friendly call center (I work in a call center myself, so this was not unexpected) and got a little bit of information. Not exactly what I expected.
I also tried the Better Business Bureau online.
When I didn't find anything, I just tried running a search for CCS. That's how I found this site. The only information that I am getting, however, is that the people they are sending their advertisments and offers to do not know how to read!
It says right on the letter that they send you exactly what the
fees are, and where the card can be used. I am quite disappointed to see people putting a company on a bad report website, when it is their own stupidity that got them into the problem they are into.
If you have terrible credit (which I do) and you don't mind paying out a little money to help it along (once again, read before you leap) then this may be a good thing to do. So you don't have a visa, or a mastercard. But they are NOT claiming to be giving you one! Read people!!
:::::::::::::::::::::::
EDitor's Comment:::::
Why are so many consumers being Ripped off. Are they all misunderstanding the advertisement? Or is the advertisement purposly misleading and hard to understand? Tricking the consumer?
There are over 130 Rip-off Reports on this company filed, and within all thsoe Rip-off Reports there are many other victims..
The BBB - Better Business Bureau has been around for more than 50 years, certainly more popular than the Rip-off Report. The Rip-off Report has been around for only 3 years, and actually only marketed to the public for less than 24 months. How can there be no complaints filed against First Nationl Credit with the BBB?
