My Mazda 3 Power Door Locks quit locking the door locks this past Sunday. The Extended Warranty purchased in May 2004 specifically says that the Power Door Locks are covered. The contract fine print does not have any exclusions for the control box that makes the power door locks work. First Extended has denied coverage saying the power door locks coverage is only the switches. The cost from the Mazda Dealer is $1254 to replace the part. The cost of the Extended Warranty was $1500. What a total rip off.
Do not purchase any extended warranty, not worth the money.
