First American Home Buyers Protection descriminate against pregnant employees, rude supervisors Ripoff Odessa Texas
i was working for fahbp when i became pregnant. they harassed me about appointments, being sick, and even about going into pre-mature labor.
i went into premature labor after a car accident when i was seven months pregnant. the hospital was able to stop labor but put me on bedrest for 7 days. they put me on probation after this. after i was in the car accident, i was supposed to go to a chiropractor 3 times a week about some of my injuries.
i went only twice and was told by my supervisor that i would have to go to the chiropractor after work or before work. my shift started at 9:00a.m and ended 6:00p.m. the doctors office opened at 9:00a.m. and closed at 5:00p.m.
when i informed my employer of this, my supervisor told me that apparently my job was not that important to me. also they told me that i would get fired if i continued to call in or be late because of appointments.
so afraid of losing my job, i told the chiropractor that i could not continue care. they told me that because of my absences before my pregnancy, that they could fire me for missing work or being late. they are unfair to their employees, dishonest, they tell customers one thing, talk about and laugh at their problems, and then dont do anything but take their money.
