First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation Refuse to pay repair for broken shower covered by the policy. Made unwarranted excuse. The company is a crook. Nationwide
The shower faucet handle came off from the valve. The connection was broke due to age and it was plastic. I called First American Home buyers Protection Corporation and reported the problem. It took them almost one week to send a plumber (Ideal Services in las Vegas) to look at the problem. After the plumber look at the problem, he called the warranty compnay for the estimate and was informed that First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation does not want to pay for the repair. I called the company and they made an excuse not to pay the repair by putting the blame on me as the consumer. I did not want to use this company as the warranty carrier for my house but the Southwest Real Estate who sold me that house insisted in using them. I believe they are an indirect agent for this company. Do not use both company for any real estate deal.
