Complaint Review: firestone complete autocar - nashville Tennessee

Firestone is a complete rip off. They do their " buy 3 get 1 free" after they jack up the prices. the month before the tires will be like $59.99 and then their $89.99 with a buy 3 get 1 free. thats a total rip off.

Their mechanics are not mechanics only part changers. The store at nashboro village manager is a crook, he once sold a lady a used engine and told her it was new on her jeep. One of his " mechanics" / parts changers Brent Roberts is a crook as well, he also works on cars on the side out of his house so he can make "extra" money. on the repair that firestone tells you that you need.

The store managers get paid a FAT bonus off of profit, but they have numbers they need to hit, sales and service dollars, and tire units to sell. They are FORCED to average 1 tire per car per day per the company and the district manager Chuck Bowles ( who is also a crook a cocky one at that).

They are also doing the same thing that Sears got into alot of trouble with. they are telling the stores they have to sell a certain amounts of services of every kind per day. Like shocks and struts, fuel system cleanings, Lifetime alignments ( that when you come back it only takes about 3 hours to get your FREE alignment done), tires, coolant flushes, transmission flushes, get the drift?

And i'm sure its not only the nashville district but others as well

Also one of the store managers ( i had a problem with) is the DISTRICT MANAGERS SON, and then i found out that his other son works at a store in Kentucky? That doesn't seem like a "professional" atmosphere?!

Also their parts mark up is UNREAL>>  They have a "special box" they punch the cost into and it "calculates" the price.   for example and 19.99 brake rotor ends up costing you around 60.00 most items up to $50.00 the price triples, $50 -$100 is 2.5 times as much and $100 and up is at lease 2.25 to 2.0 times their cost. On top of their $95.00 per hour labor rate which is higher than some dealers?

Once again nothing about this company in any way shape or form is ethical.

One store manager's dad is a corporate guy (guess thats why he got the job) Andy Cash. And Dean Goupil store manager in Murfreesboro once from what i've heard stole a hood off of a customers car that was going to scrap yard for his car.? He also once was accused of stealing money from company from what i've heard and now hes a manager? Fits right in.

Roy Briscoe manager is columbia, got demoted at another company b/c he was stealing from his customers and overcharging them. moved to washington state then moved back here, and well you guessed it firestone said you're the kinda crook we need for a store manager.

Now firestone has these military based stores and same thing, they jack the price up then give you a 10% discount? I mean come on these guys are defending YOUR freedom and is only worth 10%?

Moral of this is to tell you don't shop at firestone, they think because they have like 2200 stores and are the bigest national tire chain that they can do what they want. well my suggestions to yall is to buy your tires at like sams or costco (cheaper anyways) or even discount tires, and have your cars serviced by the dealers..  but i would NOT give them a darn penny of your money...
