Fingerhut rip-off lied to us thieves con-artists New York New York
I had purchased a bed from them. When it arrived it had slits that went all the way through the box into the mattress. I called them and told them what happenned. They kept transfering me to different deptments. After about 1/2 hr they sent me to this girl that said she was going to send me a report to fill out and return to them. I told her that it was noted on the bill of lading from the carrier that the box had cuts in it. She told me that they would get all of that info after they received my report in writing.
I waited about 2 weeks and the form never showed up. I called them back and went through the samething again. It took 2 1/2 months to finally get the form. I filled it out and sent it back. I kept calling them to see if they had gotten it yet. They kept telling me to be patiant. Of course they never received it and claimed that it must have gotten lost in the mail.
They said they would send another form out to me. Needless to say, This went on till finally they said it had been to long and I could no longer return it. I still have a bill comming from them every month. The mattress was almost $1,000.
