Im a widow. I started paying around 13.00 a week automatically in 2008 for a supposedly DELL computor. I thought
it was a good deal.I paid all my payments on time except 1. I called the company and offered to make the 1 only late payment over the phone(which was due that very same day), and the company refused to take the payment stating it would do no good, that i would not receive my computor till after i finished paying it off, but i never received my computor even after i finished paying it off,nor did i get my money back.I even turned the company into the state attorney general, the FBI/KC MO.and the VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURENAND CONSUMER SERVICES(OFFICE OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS), but nothing came of it .
They stated that it hadnt went to court yet, but i have never heard from them since i first filed complaint.I still
have paper. Since then ive had a Heart attack and 3 bleeding ulcers. Ive been a lpn since 98, and i specialized in kids. Ive always helped all my patients and other people. For a company to take advantage of an older person and get away with it is outrageous and not fair. And for Government agentcies not to do anything is unreal.
