These sick malicious ceditors contacted us about a debt that was owed, that we didnt know about. At that time we didn't even put up a fight, we just made arrangements to pay them back! We finally got the account paid in full and come to find out they still reported us to all the credit bureaus for no reason at all! We were told we could make payments on the account if we couldnt afford to pay the full amount by the representative.
This is the only thing that shows up on my credit! And to make matters worse, they had the nerve to just change it to paid in full but wont just have it removed! What f****** since does that make? Just take it off all together!
So when I call into their office i talk to a rude, sarcastic jerk that did nothing but try to make me feel like trash because I had an account with them at all to begin with. It's not uncommon for a person to have something go to collections... it should only be a real problem if that person chose not to pay it. We did pay our debt! So he tells me that they wont remove it for 7 years just because it came into their office. What! Ok Mike. That Really doesn't sound fair. He tells me that the credit bureaus dont allow it.... but I had already talked with all 3 credit bureaus and they said that this company CAN have this taken off my credit when ever they choose. So I ask to speak with his manager!
Debbie Jones was Mike's manager. After talking with her I really just want to throw a live wolverine in her mouth and duct tape it shut! She says of "we can remove it but that's just not what we do here." "We have a recording of our company telling your wife that you have to pay this back in a certain time frame and if you don't then we will report you to the credit bureaus." So i ask if i can listen to the recording and she says "no, we dont have to let you listen to the recording!" She also says you can go get a lawyer if you want, and have them call our lawyers and we still wont have to let you listen to these recordings". She then proceeded to tell me that in the state of Texas they dont have to let me listen to anything. "But they can use it against me". MAKE ANY SINCE?
if you are so sure that you told us we only had so much time to pay this back then why cant we just review the tapes and lets see what was really said?
They got paid back but still chose to try and ruin my life... sounds like a scam to me!
