Ferguson Lawson ([email protected]) FREE PET SCAM - Pay Shipping only out of British Cameroon !!! Victoria, British Cameroon Internet
I saw an ad on Craigs list out of Vancouver, BC saying that a puppy was available for free...
I responded, asking more questions. Apparently, I only had to pay for the shipping fee, directly to the airport, for the little guy to get back into Canada as he was not allowed to keep him in his country. The puppy was bought here in Canada when he was here visiting with his daughter. When they got back to Cameroon, he was given 2 weeks to arrange for the dog to go back to Canada.
I was to pay $250 for the paperwork, crate and airfare to get this puppy back into canada, to my nearest airport.
There were too many spelling errors in his emails, misiformation, the name of the dog kept changing, the details and age of his daughter kept changing, the fact that I couldn't phone and arrange the transportation myself left me thinking that this is a scam!!!
I then searched his name and city and details of the pet scam etc and found that this is similar to other scams targetting Canadian and American people. Hopefully more people will read this report as well and know that they are being scammed as well and not go thru with sending him any money for a pet that doesn't exist.
