Fashion Bug Credit Card Rip Off Farmington Maine
I had a Fashion Bug Credit Card that I cancelled due to fraudulent charges several years ago. About a year or so ago I started receiving phone calls from their very rude employees stating that I owed money on my card that had been made a few months prior. I never applied for a new card and have not shopped in their stores since the fraudulent charges years ago. I explained this to them and I was sent some paperwork to complete and they requested a copy of my driver's license. I sent this info back to them as requested and didn't hear anything from them for months. Then the calls started again, at all hours of the day. They were extremely rude and told me that a charge of about $30 was made on my charge card (which I didn't even have) and now my bill is over $300 due to late charges and fees. I pretty much told them where to go. I also asked for a copy of the sales slip with a signature. I have never received this receipt. They have put this on my credit report and refuse to take it off. It's been a couple months since they have called. So I expect that the harrassment will begin again soon. Don't ever shop at their stores and definitely don't ever sign up for their credit cards..it will haunt you on your credit report forever.
