Facebook locked my account, wants personal data to return my report to me, gives me no way to contact them
I moved to another state. When I logged in today, Facebook told me they were "protecting" me by locking my account because they don't recognize my IP address. Of course not --- I moved !!!
In order to unlock my account, I am required to give them personal info - such as my license, passport, social security card or medical information !! That is none of their business !!! Given their questionable use of personal data there is no way I am giving them that !! They sent me email but it's a no-reply. They don't have customer service contact info - don't allow you to call them. They claim I could use other tests to get my account back but they don't offer those tests to me.
Anybody else that has this issue, please reply to this report. Europe is suing Facebook; it's time that Americans do, too.
