Excel Shades in Whitby Terrible Standards, once they have your money.....communication stops Internet
Excel Shades claims to be the leaders in Custom Window drapery/shutters etc, it is the exact opposite, as well they do have numerous compaints on the Better Business Bureau, that right there should stop you in your tracks. Gabriel (owner) I met with in Mar 2011, spent over $6000 on "custom" Hunter Douglas shutters (what a joke). I had a 3-4week install date......they were finally installed on the 12th week, and no communication from the day he left. Needless to say once they were paid he was gone. My shutters were a mess in the beginning, they came back 3 weeks later to fix, forgot one window and not even a sorry or discount...nothing. They are a joke! I referred them at the beginning to my neighbor they had there install in August....4 months later and are still waiting for a patio dr blind.
