Eviction Defense Network Are Not A Totally Honest Company That Took $8,500.00 Dollars From ME!     Ms. Elena Popp, Executive Director Ms. Joanne Melgar, Director Of Operations EVICTION DEFENSE NETWORK 1930 Wilshire Boulevard  Suite #208 Los Angeles, California  90057 Office:  213-385-8112 Elena Popp: Cellular: 310-704-8785  Email: [email protected] & [email protected] Joanne Melgar:  Email:  [email protected]   Regarding:  Very Serious Complaint!   I had an Eviction Case Against Andrew Mulleneau with Case Number  # 17stus02167 about 1.5 Years Ago And Paid The Eviction Defense Network The Amount Of $8,500.00 Dollars In The Form Of A Certified Bank Check In Order To Settle The Case.

Their attorney did give ME a Stipulation and/or Agreement inside the courtroom in which I signed, along with the defendant and their lawyer.   However, I do have a Copy Of My $8,500.00 Bank Check that I Gave To Them, however, I Can Not Seem To Find The Copy Of The Stipulation and/or Agreement that Their Attorney Gave To ME Inside The Courtroom That I Signed.

I asked them several times by email and fax to Please Email ME That Copy For My Records?   Sadly, back on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, I received an emailed response back from  Ms. Joanne Melgar, Director Of Operations telling ME that my case is sealed and that I can Not prove who I am in order to receive it and was told to go to the court in order to get it when They Have It Right In Their Office and they know that!

This company is Nothing, but Dishonest and a Huge Fraud that Makes Money Off Of Landlords through Tenants that are Evicted (whether the tenant is Right or Wrong, they do Not Care)..   They Only Care About Money!   They have Absolutely No Sympathy, nor Respect for Any Landlord!   They won't even give ME a copy of a Document pertaining to ME and My Case which is absurd.

Enclosed, in the attachment, please find a copy of the Negative Letter Of Absolutely No Help that I had received from Ms. Joanne Melgar, Director Of Operations for your reference and further review.  Thank You. If You Can Help It, Stay Away From Eviction Defense Network!

Sincerely yours,

...Paid The Eviction Defense Network The Amount Of $8,500.00 Dollars In The Form Of A Certified Bank Check In Order To Settle The Case.  It sounds like they did the job you wanted them to do for the $8,500 you paid.

I do have a Copy Of My $8,500.00 Bank Check that I Gave To Them, however, I Can Not Seem To Find The Copy Of The Stipulation and/or Agreement that Their Attorney Gave To ME Inside The Courtroom That I Signed.  That's a bad break.  Perhaps you should have not lost the copy you were given.  I mean a real executive would not have lost the copy provided to you.

I received an emailed response back from  Ms. Joanne Melgar, Director Of Operations telling ME that my case is sealed and that I can Not prove who I am in order to receive it and was told to go to the court in order to get it when They Have It Right In Their Office and they know that!  No, they don't keep copies of agreements and the associated paperwork that are more than one year old in the office.  Your case file was shipped to storage and the box your case was in was shrink wrapped, hence the term 'sealed'.  If you really wanted a copy from the attorney, then you better be prepared to pay a whole lot of money for the firm to get their copy of your agreement out of storage, and I mean thousands.  Firms don't image copies nor do they keep anything old in the office - paperwork retained in a law office is either an active case or something recently closed.  Yours is neither.

If you want a copy of your what was decided in the court, then you need to go to the court and request a copy in person.  Next time don't lose your paperwork.

They won't even give ME a copy of a Document pertaining to ME and My Case which is absurd.  No, you very clearly admitted they gave you a copy of the agreement.  You said: I Can Not Seem To Find The Copy Of The Stipulation and/or Agreement that Their Attorney Gave To ME Inside The Courtroom That I Signed.  So what you did was lose the copy you were given.  Now that was incredibly careless of you to lose that important document.  Now it will cost you time and money to go to court, stand in line, and wait for court personnel to pull your case and print out the agreement.  I'd estimate about 2-3 hours wait time, depending on when you get to the court, plus the cost of copying the agreement.

Next time, don't lose your paperwork.  That's the only lesson you need to remember.
