My job with a non-profit health education organization includes duties that involve soliciting donations. I had the current task of presenting to a potential major contributor a report and presentation that could have kept us staffed, and our doors open for the next five to six years. In other words this was a major project, no room for error.

I was blinded sided by the dead line being moved up six weeks, the board of the company wanted to see our presentation for funding six weeks early! Lacking some information from California, and in need of an expert proofreader, I went online for help. I found this Essay Town who claimed to have College Professors do research, as well as proof read and edit papers.

I sent an inquiry and got a response the next day. For $100.00 dollars they would fill in the research, and proof this type of document, and do so before a week. So I emailed the report I had along with a money order of my own money, that I sent regular Postal Service.

Ten days later I had no response, so I emailed. Two days later I emailed again, and received a rude reply saying he know nothing of any report, and had no idea what I was talking about. I traced the money order and it was deposited. I kept asking and pleading with someone called Jason, and this Jason got down right belligerent, and accused me of being anything from a liar and a thief to a crazy woman?

However the story does not end with this nightmare, three weeks later my co-worker was looking at this Essay Town site, and found our report for sale on this site! Now why is this place calling me a thief? Now if that just not take the cake!

Luckily I did manage to present the report, after a mad scramble, and assistance from a helpful local teacher. We got most of the funding we sought. I guess this is a lesson to always CYA, use receipt for money in the mail, and check this company before you do business.

Where is your proof?

If you had proof to support any of your bogus claims, you would have already posted it here. Where is the link on our Web site at which one may find this "edited" paper that you falsely claim we are selling? There are more holes in your story than in a slice of swiss cheese. FYI, "filling in the research" is NOT editing.

Well Sara You can not read what my complaint was about. I sent in a paper to have EDIT work done, you "people" did not write a SINGLE THING. I wrote the work, you stole it, and are selling it as your own! From the high number and still growing reports this is an obvious scam. Everyone should know that your work will not be edited it will be stolen. I know this company will not accept blame because that would be moral. Stealing is much easier. People avoid these irrational people! PS Try and sue me! Please! Yes I reported it to the BBB, and I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE, I am not the one who stole others people's work! This is not liable it is the truth, oh yeah, and call my college too!

Refuses to admit her oversights

Quite simply, this woman's claims no longer make any sense. First she claimed that we didn't write the paper. Then, she claimed that she found the paper that we "didn't write" on our Web site. Now, when confronted with the truth and simple facts, she claims that we stole our OWN WORK! Unbelievable . . . .

I can't believe this! This is what they do blame the customer for their rip off!

I never dealt with any Sara? Their is no status web page or a special email address to send to. The fact I found my work on their site is proof they steal others work, they admitted to it! I followed all rules to the letter because of how important this project was. Liars, thieves, con artist is only the opening description of these individuals! Sick just sick

Simply untrue she did not follow any of our clearly advertised contact procedures

I am the person who attempted to assist this customer. From day #1, she did not follow any of our clearly advertised contact procedures, so we could not track any of her emails properly. We gave her a specific URL to obtain the status of her project 24/7, but she simply ignored that instruction. Instead, she sent direct emails, and did not provide any of the obvious information required for us to help her, such as her payment receipt or her order number. If she had followed any of our simple instructions, we could have assisted her more quickly. (We have a 24/7 status form for a reason!) And the fact that she later "found" the paper on our site proves that we DID complete the project and we DID email it to the email address that she provided. If she claims to not have received our material at all, she is simply not telling the truth.
