Ebay/Amazon.com (Alessio Izabele, ESCROW-IC.COM) Rip-off! He ripped me off for $1067! Internet
Alessio Izabele, [email protected] contacted me after I enquired re: powerbook G4 which I had found posted on Ebay/Amazon.com - where he had also posted this email address.
He assured me of the security involved and sent me to the following escrow site:
http://www.Escrow-IC.com/index.php?action=how_it_works
After signing up with Escrow-IC, he then emailed me the following instructions to send cash which was to go in escrow:
WESTERN UNION WIRE TRANSFER

> 1) find the nearest Western Union agent in your city/location
> (please go to www.westernunion.com -> AGENT LOCATOR)
>
> 2) wire 999 USD to our receiver:

> First Name: Darren
> Last Name: Joseph
> Address: 150 Bayswater Road
> City: London
> Postal code: WC1X9NX
> Country: United Kingdom
>
> 3) after receiving the MTCN number please login and and submit it
> (click on the status).
I have followed the directions and lost $1067. Both the Escrow-ic site and Alessio are a scam
