I have been a member of the EDU panel website for well over a year. They are a basic "survey hub" type of website that offers a list of surveys for pay. Any monies earned accumulate in your account and when you reach a payout level, you can redeem for Amazon, paypal, or a bunch of other gift card choices. They HAVE been legitimate and I have been awarded the proper payouts when requested.

The complaint is the following: They abruptly pulled their website a little over a week ago. You get redirected to a Frontier Communications search page that says the address you typed does not exist. Attempting to google the website still shows the website but when you click on it..back to the Fronteir page you go. It is as if the website has just vanished. There has been no communication by email about the site being down for upgrade or anything like that. I also believe if there was some type of server issue, they would have contacted members to let them know.

I have emailed them and also get no response or explanation. This leads me to conclude that they are closing down the website and ripping off any member that has an account and earnings in it. Although we are not talking a lot of money (I had around $23 in my account) if they have a thousand or so members...you get the picture. If they are going chapter 11 bankrupt they have an obligation to inform members...not just vanish into the night!!!

In conclusion, I requst an investigation and information as to what is going on with this situation! Thank you for your time and consideration!!

Yep..they are surely NOT working to "fix the problem"  Do not click the url for the website!!  Now it takes you to a bunch of weird pages that immediately set off my security warning me of the page I was directed to. These folks not only ripped us off, they are now trying to harm users by linking anyone looking for the EDU website to potentially harmful web pages. Wish I knew of an organization that would actually pursue these people and shut them down!!!

I e-mailed the "support center" several times.  I actually DID get responses.  Basically, all of them said "the issue is being worked on", and they didn't all come from the same person.

I was at $43.  I saved because they changed the minimum amount for PayPal from $25 to $50.

I'm finally figuring out that they may NOT be "fixing the problem".

How odd you are still getting email. I have gotten none at all since the site vanished. One reason for that may be there are several sites who use the same survey format and the same list of live surveys..(Focusline, IPoll, I Think, Mommy Talk Surveys) I wonder if they all subscribe (outsource) to a service of broadcast e mail that sends out mass e mail invites for all the survey sites who use this format??

Makes sense as I am a member of Focusline and one other and I generally get an invite for the same survey for all three when one comes. Doesn't explain however why some folks are getting as much volume as you and some are getting none at all.

As for the website....I think it will never come back. I think they went belly up and SOL for any monies still owed to members. May I ask why you left your money in there long enough to be so much?? I ALWAYS cash out as soon as I hit the $25 threshold. If you were saving for a big payday..looks like it is never going to happen for you now!!!

I'll let you know if I find out anything through my investigation into the company and please do the same if you find out anything!!  Thanks!!

I have been a member for over 7 years and have experienced the same problem. I have $158.00 in my account which I can not access. Erg surveys sends me 7-10 emails a day yet I cannot access their site. If they dont want to pay I wish they would stop sending emails
