Complaint Review: Enterprize School House Apts/ Ct Associates - Waterbury Connecticut

My sister and her boyfriend(and probably other people too) have been ripped off and cheated by this stupid place. This 'apartment building' is for people with handicapps and disabilites and people who are low income and on HUD. The age range who rent are mostly middle age and senior citizens. There are a few younger people but mostly older. There are a few children who live in this building(including my nephew who is 2.) This place is roach infested,mice infested,so much lead paint. Its pathetic. You have to call them over and over to do something.

They complain when you call,you have to threaten them with the health department in order for them to do something. What do you expect i guess when you make an old factory into an apartment building. Please do not rent here or put your family into this place. Ok now since i told you a little bit about what it is like i will tell you what they did.

My sister has a payee which is our mother. My mother pays the rent first thing. She mails the rent in or has my sister and her b/f bring it in themselves. We save the reciepts and give my sister a copy so they are always covered. Well so we think..This b***h lisa who takes care of the rent tries to tell my sister and her boyfriend that they dont pay the rent. They will say they havent got it and then a month later "Oh hey we got your rent we found it in another pile on our desk" Wow clean your desk you idiots. They want them to pay for the months they "didnt get" Well like i said we all have the reciepts and they want to see them so my sister gladly shows them recipts. They will still say they "havent found the rent" "were using recipts from something else" Its so pathetic.

My sister and her b/f have been trying to move but they scare them into staying. You may not say that it is possable but when your mentality isnt 100 percent(and im not calling them retarted they are not) unfortenitly you dont understand and get scared into things. They take advantage of the handicapped and disabled. They need to be shut down. I have been in that building before i had my son and it was disgusting. My sister cleans that house every day. I have seen her and i have helped her once. I will never take my son to there apartment and that is kinda sad. There just putting cameras into that place. Shouldnt they have done that a long time ago? Like when they first thought of making this place into an apartment?

There stealing peoples money when they feel they dont have enough to put into the apartment. I know there supposed to use the renters money for that reason and whatever else but come on there are 5 floors there just about all the apartments are vacent they have enough money dont be telling the tenanats they they need to pay more because you dont have there rent when you d**n well do. I think its sad when people take advantage of the disabled. I hope this place gets shut down just like it deserves to. There is hardly any security. Prostitutes break into the laundry room,anyone can just come in. The fire alarm will go off when nothing is wrong. You dont make an old factory into an apartment building. Just my thought.

So please if you live in Connecticut and you have a family member or friend who is disabled and/or handicapped please,please dont put them in this dumb they call enterprize school house apts
