Energy Blue Eco Tech Tried to sell me a product that I do not want, visited my home and refused to leave Lexington South Carolina
After reading many reports of others being scamed by Energy Blue tech the same exact way as others, I am sure happy I read about this before I might have purchased their overpriced junk products.
They lured my wife and I by inviting us to come for a free steak dinner at a local restraunt near me in Lexington, SC called the Flight Deck.
They put on a little dog and pony type show demonstarting their product which turned out to be NASA inspired atic insulation and a solar powered atic fan.
After the demo and sales pitch they insisted that the audience give their contact information and what time they should come over to give a free and professional estimate to install the product in the atic. I should have known something was fishey when there was no choice to opt out, they insisted you list a day and time for the estimate.
The salesmen/estimator gave me a price of the installation which my wife and I found to be way too hi, and we did not want to buy the product.
I tried to tell him thank you for the steak dinner and free estimate but we were not intrested in the product and said Thanks again for stopping by
and went to escort him out of the door. He then insisteed to make a phone call back to his office. After several minutes he claimed his manager
wanted to give us a special deal by ordering the product using a local Chevy dealer, Herndon Cheverlot a business in Lexingto, SC that he claimed
they recently bought several thousands of dollars of their products and we can use the discounts they received. He quoted me a price somewhat lower than the first price, and again I told him that I was not intrested, and added I would not buy his phoney product at any price or circumstance!
I was ready to call me local sherifs department and pull out my gun for trespassing but he finalay left my premises.
Please see simular stories on Rip0ff reports like mine. I suggest aiawaats remember that (THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH!!)
Also I called the owner of our local Chevorlet Dealer and was told they never heard of Energy Blue... and the story was a lie...
