Enercare customer service is awful. I trued to book service for my AC in the hottest and humid day (August 28th 2018)  and I spent one hour on the phone with the customer service representative and after few phone connections breaks I was able to get an appointment for Aug 29th afternoon. Customer service was more interested in selling me the cooling plan that I accepted because I didn't have a lot of choices. I provided customer service with correct phone, address and email at least 7 times. Last few days were very hot and humid and that was a risk for y health to be in the building where the temperature got to 83 degrees.

Next day (Aug 29th) the technician called that he can't find my address and the address that he had was completely different of mine. I than wasted one more hour with the next representative repeating over and over again the correct address, phone number etc. and again the only thing to get the service was to sign again with the rip off plan which I accepted.  I requested to speak with a manager but what happened i was transferred from one representative to another until finally representative Kathleen was able to correct it in the system.   She was one out of 5 that day that I was able to have normal communication. And again, I was sold the plan and a promise that manager will call back.

Their technician, Majid Khan was here this morning (Aug 30). He is very decent and knowledgeable person (10/10), a quiet contrary to the customer service ladies (0/10).

I just got a phone call from the manager, Arian (phone general number 1-844-288-2646)  who explained to me that there is nothing that they can do and does not provide any compensation for the wasted time (one and a half days that I had to take off from my work). I insisted that for the sign of good will and reputation of the company they at least wave the protection and maintenance plan costs for one year because their unprofessional treatment of the customer. All I got is 2 months of already overpriced plans. What choice I have but to accept.

ENERCARE IS INCOMPETENT COMPANY WITH OVERPRICED PLANS. Their only interest is to sign as much customers as they can for overpriced plans. Customer service is just unprofessionally repeating training scripts.

As I'm government employee working on energy matters, I'll do anything that is in my power to make public how Enercare is incompetent in dealing with the customers.

Who ever read this post, please be aware of these guys and anybody similar. Internet is full of scary stories about "big sharks" predators preying on consumers.
