We are an on-line newspaper that moved from Host Gator because on New Years Eve the server went down and almost distroyed us. They kept going down and blaming us thought we were innocent. After that we went to i-pages and asked if they were at any way a part of Host Gator and we were told no. Within two months same problems and this time they kept taking $ out of my bank accounts and then when I would catch them return it.
We were building a new website so we decided when that was built we would move and would go to justhost because they told us agaiin they were not connect to Host Gator or i-pages. They distroyed a website that we spent 4 months building and lied about it. We could not move from Just Host until we solved the technical problems that they created. We have yet to have been able to do that because Just Host keeps crashing. We warned them of these problems back in September and we were blamed for the problems. As of right now my site has been down for the past 72 hours. We have also not had access to our business e-mails since October.
My web designer and I informed them and provided extensive transcripts of what we dealt with in writing with Just Host. We were also planning to move to A Small Orange and not only found out that they two were apart of Host Gator but the all the companies were owned by Endurance International.
We contacted them and relayed the technical issues and outlined them in detail.
1: We asked every company after Host Gator if they were at all affiliated with the others and we were repeatedly told no.
2: We asked every company after Host Gator what there uptime was and all said 99.9% which was again a lie.
3: We asked every company after Host Gator if they were located in Utah and all said no and lied. They said they were in other places. I-Pages.. Boston, Just Host.. Nevada and A Small Orange.. Texas. They are all in Utah.
4: We asked every company after Host Gator why the site was corrupted and all blamed us instead of taking responsibility, that they can not handle word press and they corrupt sites when enveloping them.

Endurance has been buying up small companies and the service of those companies falls short. This is well documented on the internet, and they have paid to advertise and say all their sites are separate and not connected. This is considered a monopoly and is illegal.
I have been charged double and sometimes triple and it was taken out of my bank account, thinking I would not notice.
We paid a lot of money to a publicist for the new site but they have not been able to do their job. We lost ads, hits, momentum, time, energy and the deadline for the TV show for six months since every time we went to show the website it was down. In our busiest season we have literally been blocked. We spent our entire summer working to be ready for September 1st. No vacations, no down time and all we invested has almost been destroyed.
It is not Just Host that corrupts, all thier sites do.
I have talked with the FCC and have filed a vocal complaint. The official paper work is on route to me. I have filed with the The Better Business Bureau # 10335655 and given my permission to talk to the media about this. As to date their are over 364 complaints.
I would like to file a Class Action Law suit and if a lawyer would like this case I have a notebook full of transactions as well as others who have dealt with this mess.
I am a small business person and this loss is destroying what I have built. I have worked to hard and sacrificed too much.
