I am another victim of Encante Skin care charges on my creditit card. Their terms and conditions are hard to read and cover all details. My story is just like others I have read. You see these outrageous charges on your credit card.
So If you don't notify them in 15 days of receipt of what I thought was a trial sample for $5.95 each for the two products, shipped together, they will then charge you close to $200.00 for the two products. The packing list does not say anything about this. And after 30 days you cannot get a refund... period
And now you are on their list for auto shipment and they will keep sending and charging until you call to cancel and get a return auth for the currently sent product only, less $9.95 for restocking. You have to call a different number for each product to get the RA and pay the fee twice.
When you talk to them they are very polite but say the same thing over and over and point out that it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions, basically telling you that it is your fault and you are not too bright. They will not negotiate and obviously don't care if you are a happy customer or not. They will, however, give you 35% off on your next auto shipment!
I am out the money for the first two products and will return the next two after calling two different numbers for RA's, and paying restock twice plus shipping. Needless to say I do feel rather stupid and am very angry with myself and these tricky marketers.
I hope that your site will make more people aware of this tricky marketing. I certainly have learned my very expensive lesson.
